The mortar shall comply with specifications for ASTM C270 Type “M” Mortar, using GIBCO’S MRF, as distributed by GIBCO Products International, Inc., Tulsa, OK , in lieu of Lime. Mixture for ASTM C270 Type “M” Mortar shall be 1 bag of Portland Cement Type I or II, 3 ounces of GIBCO’S MRF and 2 1/4 to 2 and 3/4 cubic feet of masonry sand. The masonry sand shall comply with ASTM C144 specifications.
